Search for long lost Countdown episodes of the 1970s forum

G'day all.

I have been away from my forums for a couple of months as I've had so many other things happening I've forgotten I even had a forum. Just visiting the forum today, I have just discovered a lot of spam posts and I am utterly appalled and have just deleted them all!!!

I sincerely apologize for my lack of housekeeping in these forums, there is no place for any form of spam in these forums and am sorry that you's have been bombarded with such posts. I will now have to look into finding an effective method of filtering out spammers, I will likely set this forum to membership only which those who want to join have to write a message of reason for joining and I will approve membership. I admit my knowledge of customizing forums is currently limited as I've not had much experience at it so it I will have to do some learning, in the meantime I will simply regularly check the forums and delete any spam posts.

I will keep you all updated with any changes I make to these forums, hopefully it should soon be a totally spam free forum.
